With the conclusion of the IQA World Cup 2025, the International Quadball Association is pleased to announce that bidding is now open for the upcoming Continental Games and World Cup.

The IQA is pleased to announce that the European Games 2026, in partnership with the Quadball Nations Cup, will take place in Salou, Catalonia, Spain, on 3-4 October 2026 at the Mediterranean Sport Village.

Quadball Europe (QE) is a sports organization that connects and represents all European National Quadball Governing Bodies (NGBs) on a European-wide level.

Quadball Europe is the governing body for quadball (previously known as quidditch) for the whole of Europe in all age and gender. The main interest for the organization is creating a fair and equal playing ground for international competition(s).

In total, 20 NGBs have become member of Quadball Europe.

Quadball Europe is the main organizer of the most prestigious club competition in Europe: the European Quadball Cup (EQC), split in two divisions (D1 & D2).

IQA WORLD CUP 2025 BRUSSELS-TUBIZE 11-13th JULY

Quadball is a mixed gender, full contact sport played across the world. Originally inspired by the game in the Harry Potter series, quadball has grown since the inaugural match in 2005 to be a sport played by thousands of players in over 40 countries.

Seven players on each team compete to outscore their opponents by scoring the volleyball through one of the opposition hoops, defending their own hoops with tackles and dodgeballs, and catching the snitch to end the game.

The International Quadball Association (IQA) is the international governing body for quadball. We work with our members to facilitate international competition and cooperation, develop the sport through rulebooks, and to bring quadball to a worldwide audience.
